Sunday, March 15, 2009circle goes global! circledesigns.jp has officially launched Our stylish new site, circledesigns.jp (curated and managed by Tokyo native and resident style guru Mari Mizuno), will feature a collection of circle jewelry pieces specifically chosen for the Japanese market. The site currently showcases around 125 sterling silver items with an emphasis on Japanese Akoya pearl, rich red merlot carnelian, and frosted quartz crystal; but Ms. Mizuno will continue to add new pieces and feature new gemstones throughout the year. In addition to an online jewelry store, the site also includes a design blog entitled workbench which will host gemstone and jewelry educational posts, video posts from inside the circle studio tracing the creation of jewelry pieces from conception to final fabrication (look forward to video posts right here as well), fashion and style news, and links to artists/designers/musicians we enjoy. The Japanese site will also serve as a template for our Chinese and Taiwanese sites launching later this year.
