This wide band is a combination of sterling silver and 14 karat gold. Do you have diamonds or gemstones from unworn jewelry? My friend Kim had a seriously dated (and unworn for probably 15 years) tennis bracelet and thought it would be nice to reset the diamonds into matching rings for herself and her three daughters. Check out these super cool bands! It's a great idea to recycle unworn diamonds and gemstones (wasted in a drawer) and reset them into a brand new pieces. Do you have a great idea like Kim? I love to do custom pieces and here is a great one. I do a ring every year for my friend Melodi's cool goth daughter and she really let me "stretch my wings" with this one. I used a huge moon-cut piece of black onyx for the back-drop of the gliding bat. Bat and heavy band were all done in brushed and scratched sterling silver.
